On the 14th of April, the classes 4 AHME, 4AHET and 4AHCIC started their journey to Dublin. After a long bus ride and an exhausting flight every student was picked up by their host family and brought to their new homes.
The first day started at 9 a.m. in the Babel Academy, where the students improved their English speaking skills. Three hours later we went on a stunning city tour, where we visited places like Trinity College and Grafton Street. On the third day, after school, we were sent to accomplish different tasks as part of a treasure hunt. On the fourth day of the trip the magic of producing Teeling whiskey was shown to everyone. The fabulous landscape of Howth was the next adventure on our journey. As the “Dubliners” were walking along the cliffs, they always had a breathtaking view. At the end of the week, we had an amazing full-day trip to the national park of Glendalough. Jeanie Johnston was the last point of interest for us in Dublin. It is a replica of the famous Jeanie Johnston ship, which gave us an insight into Irish people’s lives during the potato famine.
Man, we love Dublin!
